Dr. Shalini Rajneesh is
one of the most respected IAS officers of India. She is a 1989 batch IAS
officer belonging to Karnataka cadre. She is known for her innovative steps to
bring pro people Government policies to the people. Her stint in the Ministry
of Health and Ministry of Administrative Reforms in Karnataka has been quite
successful.
Dr. Shalini Rajneesh was
recently in news when the award winning film director Nikhil Manju announced a
film on her life, named Shalini IAS. The film will be based on the real life
story of her published as a book named Dreams of an IAS Couple (in Kannada).
Dr. Shalini Rajneesh was
the women topper in 1989 UPSC Civil Services Examination. She was also the
youngest IAS officer of her batch.
IAS has always been the
dream of Shalini. Her father Mr. P P Chabria was also an IAS officer. He passed
away recently. Shalini had donated all his healthy organs after his death.
Simultaneously, she had also pledged to donate her own organs after her death.

can cure Dengue fever. Being the Principal Secretary to the Health Ministry,
her post naturally drew attention. She was severely criticized for that post as
there isn’t any scientific proof.
