What is the Caste of Ravi Shankar Prasad, BJP?


Ravi Shanker Prasad is a Union Minister to the Government of India. He is a seasoned BJP politician known for sharp legal acumen. He was the advocate for PIL against Lalu Prasad in the infamous Fodder Scam which led to the incarceration of the later.

Ravi Shankar Prasad is going to fight 2019 Lok Sabha election from Patna Sahib Constituency. His main opponent will be Shatrughna Sinha, Congress candidate.

Ravi Shankar is expected to sail through easily. Shatrughna Sinha is being termed as the biggest loser. Main reason is CASTE.

Ravi Shankar Prasad is a Kayastha by caste. The surname is little bit away from popular Kayastha surname which sometimes led to confusion.

It is said that a Kayastha candidate with Lotus symbol can easily win Patna Lok Sabha Seat. Shatrughna Sinha is also a Kayastha, but he will not enjoy Lotus symbol, the other condition.

Many prominent Kayasthas have fought from Patna at previous occasions, like Dr. Gopal Prasad Sinha and Shekher Suman. However, all of them lost.
