R. Roshan Baig is an Indian National Congress politician and
an MLA from Shivajinagar of Karnataka. He is a highly abusive politician whose
politics is all about abusing and hurling expletives to Hindu leaders belonging
to all parties. Recently, he was in news for making highly derogatory comments
against the Prime Minister of India. He is also the Vice Chairman of Al – Ameen
Educational Society, which runs lots of educational institutions in Bengaluru.
These institutes generally cater to the need of Muslims throughout India.
R. Roshan Baig started his education from Bangalore. He was
never a good student and was, in fact, failed in Class 8th. Somehow,
he did graduation and LLB. During college days, he became a student leader and
gradually rose in the rank and file. First he became MLA on Janta Party ticket
in 1985. Later moved to the Indian National Congress and since then attached
with the grand old party of India.
Currently, Roshan Baig is the Urban Development Minister to
the Government of Karnataka. He is also an MLA from Bengaluru. However, the
urban development scenario in Bengaluru has taken a back seat. At least five
people were killed because of patholes. It is nothing short of utter shame for
a city which aspires to become the global technological hub.
Roshan Baig has also clarified his statement against
Narendra Modi. He said that since he is not strong in Tamil Language, he
couldn’t understand what locals are saying about the PM for GST and
Demonetization. He further added that the PM belongs to the nation and not to
any political party.
