Love Story of Digvijay Singh and Amrita Rai

Digvijay Singh was all alone after the sudden demise of his wife Asha in February 2013. Obviously, at this age, he may not have sexual relationship with Asha ji. But, the death of lifelong companion had given him an opportunity to try and find new avenues to make physical relationship.

Digivijay came in contact with Amrita Rai in a television interview. Both are having same ideology and hence it was easy for them to start talking on variety of issues. Digvijay being all alone got hooked with the beauty of Amrita. And, Amrita was also attracted to his – may be because of his political connections and huge wealth. They started to date and spent lots of private time. Amrita also got pictures of those private moments.

Digvijay Singh has five children from his first wife Asha Ji. He has four daughters and one son – Jayvardhan Singh, who is now an MLA in MP. One of his daughters died in 2016 because of cancer. When these five siblings came to know about the relationship between Digvijay and Amrita, they protested. Digvijay had to relent and promised his children that he will break relationship with Amrita. He, in fact, proceeded for the same, but Amrita was in no mood to listen.

At this very time, the private photos of Digvijay and Amrita were leaked on Twitter. A fake profile of Nitin Gadkari was used to leak these images. No one knows who had leaked the pictures. Some still believe that it was none other than Amrita.

Digvijay had to admit this relationship in public. That was definitely a brave decision to publicly admit relationship with a girl half of his age. At that time, Amrita had also tweeted that she is now a divorcee and will proceed to marry Digvijay Singh.

They got married in 2016.

Contrary to what people believe, Amrita had openly said that she is not eyeing huge property of Digvijay Singh. She said that suggestion was already made to Diggi Raja to transfer all his properties to his son and daughters. Digvijay has already transferred all his family and earned assets to his son. He declared this on Twitter and patted Amrita for encouraging him to do so.
